8 Tips To Look Younger.

Here are some of my personal anti-aging tips. Follow them and you'll always have a youthful glow.

1. Remove Make up before bed.

Duh, Right? This is not just about avoiding clogged pores. It's extremely important to rid your skin of pollution and you've been exposed to thought out the day. Washing away free radicals will avoid the breakdown of collagen and elastic tissue. I love Chantecaille Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser ($50).

2. Wear antioxidant- infused sunscreens

SPF is a must. A formula that contains antioxidants will reduce oxidative damage and does not need to be reapplied often. I recommend Chantecaille Anti-Smog Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 ($62).

3. Supersize your sunglasses.

Everyone know how damaging the sun can be, so besides coating on sunscreen, you need to shield yourself with chic accessories. Say goodbye to thin rimmed aviators and hello to oversized frames and you'll get more protection around your eyes, which wrinkle first. And don't forget a hat; buying a $5 fedora will save you thousands of dollars at the plastic surgeons later.

4. Beef up your lashes and brows.

Thick brows  and full lashes are definitely a sign of youth, so keeping lashes long and filling brows in correctly is crucial. Draw in hairs on brows with a ticking motion from bottom to top using a neutral shade. Products like NeuLash ($150) can help by boosting lash and brow growth with peptides and botanicals.

5. Invest in the right skincare.

Let's face it there are tons of great moisturizers out there. The trick is finding the one that is right for your skin. Moisturizing your skin and eye area day and night is crucial. Nourish your skin with the right moisturizer and eye cream and you will keep that youthful look longer. Try Creme de La Mer ($220) or Chantecaille Nano Gold Energizing Cream ($420) Chantecaille Stess Repair Concentrate ($170).

6.  Lift your eyes with pencil.

Use an eye pencil, to soften and enlarge the eyes. Liquid liners tend to be to harsh and dramatic. To reverse droopy looking lids, blend liner up at the outer corners with a Q-tip. I love Laura Mercier Khol Pencil in Brown Copper for every day ($22).

7. Brush blush above your apples.

For an instant cheek lift, place your blush at the highest point of your cheek-bone and apply color in a circular motion. Go for warm pinks, apricots, or bronzes. These colors create less contrast and make you look younger. A great option is Kevyn Aucoin the Pure Powder Glow in Myracle or Neolita ($37 each).

8.  Choose lighter lipstick.

Dark shades can be unflattering on mature skin because lips get thinner as you age. To get a fuller more youthful look choose rosy reds or flesh-colored shades. And also remember that swiping on lipstick without other makeup can make you look older than if you wear no makeup at all. Try MAC in Creme D'Nude ($15) and Chantecaille Lip Chic in Zinnia ($30).

Fall Trends 2010

This season it's about contrast, and what might seem like a contradiction the matching of divergent styles could actually reveal a fresh and new chic juxtaposition.

To start, menswear inspiration comes by way of the all important pantsuit. The tailoring and fabrications are borrowed from the boys, but the flattering silhouettes are for the girls. An accent of lace, the luster of pearls, and the perfect proportions of a structured handbag provide a soft opposition to the masculinity.

Green is the hue for fall, and a go in every shade. Build a surplus of style by stocking up on clothes with military influences. Military influences are everywhere this fall.

Fur is fantastic. From top to bottom, on a jacket or a decorative trim. Nothing is more opulent than fur. Real or Faux. This must have enriches any look.

Distinguish yourself in ponchos, capes and vests that will ensure you stand out among the coat and jacket wearing crowd. Treat them like accessories. They top a look perfectly.

Fashionistas everywhere should flock to items ornamented in feathers, as feathers bedeck everything from dresses and jackets to handbags and shoes.

Getting a boot is a good thing, although getting an entire wardrobe of boots will really step up your sophistication. Wear a different style every day. Flat or with a heel, to the calf or above the knee with so many options to love why not start a collection.

This fall embrace the mix, and don't fear matching, be bold, and confident.

Style Changes Everything

As you can imagine, I admire creativity immensely. Ideas inspire me. To challenge the status quo is to look from a different perspective and think with an open mind.

I have always been fascinated by the way current trends evolve, causing fashion to change. It's not only what we wear, but also how we live, what we read, the foods we eat, the websites we visit, and the music we love. I spend a lot of time considering how what's "in fashion" in every way shape and form is influenced by the world around us.

The runways are unique because designers find inspiration in what's happening right now on the streets and also in the history of fashion and design. We look to fall, the new ideas have emerged and fashion has changed once again.

In these days more than ever, style values accessibility. The most exciting trends are those that adapt to the way we live and want to dress now.

A perfect example of how style changes everything presents itself this fall season with the return of the pantsuit. I can admit that when I first saw them on the runways, I was a bit hesitant. But as the collections continued, I became more and more intrigued about their proposition. It's a look that is very modern and new. Immediately, I sensed I was ready to trade my skirts and dresses for a modern "pantsuit".

The pantsuit is fashion that works. For polished and pretty, add a touch of lace and a layer of pearls. To keep it sleek and professional add any great boot (wedge or flat, or high heel) and the pantsuit will look even more current anytime, anywhere.

With the pantsuit leading the charge this fall, of course there will always be things that don't vary, I call them "things we'll always love" and they include animal prints, knits, lace and pearls.

Style is what works for you and how you make fashion your very own. It's style that changes everything.
