8 Tips To Look Younger.

Here are some of my personal anti-aging tips. Follow them and you'll always have a youthful glow.

1. Remove Make up before bed.

Duh, Right? This is not just about avoiding clogged pores. It's extremely important to rid your skin of pollution and you've been exposed to thought out the day. Washing away free radicals will avoid the breakdown of collagen and elastic tissue. I love Chantecaille Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser ($50).

2. Wear antioxidant- infused sunscreens

SPF is a must. A formula that contains antioxidants will reduce oxidative damage and does not need to be reapplied often. I recommend Chantecaille Anti-Smog Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 ($62).

3. Supersize your sunglasses.

Everyone know how damaging the sun can be, so besides coating on sunscreen, you need to shield yourself with chic accessories. Say goodbye to thin rimmed aviators and hello to oversized frames and you'll get more protection around your eyes, which wrinkle first. And don't forget a hat; buying a $5 fedora will save you thousands of dollars at the plastic surgeons later.

4. Beef up your lashes and brows.

Thick brows  and full lashes are definitely a sign of youth, so keeping lashes long and filling brows in correctly is crucial. Draw in hairs on brows with a ticking motion from bottom to top using a neutral shade. Products like NeuLash ($150) can help by boosting lash and brow growth with peptides and botanicals.

5. Invest in the right skincare.

Let's face it there are tons of great moisturizers out there. The trick is finding the one that is right for your skin. Moisturizing your skin and eye area day and night is crucial. Nourish your skin with the right moisturizer and eye cream and you will keep that youthful look longer. Try Creme de La Mer ($220) or Chantecaille Nano Gold Energizing Cream ($420) Chantecaille Stess Repair Concentrate ($170).

6.  Lift your eyes with pencil.

Use an eye pencil, to soften and enlarge the eyes. Liquid liners tend to be to harsh and dramatic. To reverse droopy looking lids, blend liner up at the outer corners with a Q-tip. I love Laura Mercier Khol Pencil in Brown Copper for every day ($22).

7. Brush blush above your apples.

For an instant cheek lift, place your blush at the highest point of your cheek-bone and apply color in a circular motion. Go for warm pinks, apricots, or bronzes. These colors create less contrast and make you look younger. A great option is Kevyn Aucoin the Pure Powder Glow in Myracle or Neolita ($37 each).

8.  Choose lighter lipstick.

Dark shades can be unflattering on mature skin because lips get thinner as you age. To get a fuller more youthful look choose rosy reds or flesh-colored shades. And also remember that swiping on lipstick without other makeup can make you look older than if you wear no makeup at all. Try MAC in Creme D'Nude ($15) and Chantecaille Lip Chic in Zinnia ($30).

  1. Great Tips: I was guilty of not using the correct regimen for cleaning my face. Now, I try my best to clean it day and night and of course use Retinol at night. I break out easily, so I have been break out free for some time now. :-)
